So the result of the abandoned Hunslet and Mayfield game is Hunslet are fined £425 plus another £200 suspended for a year. Mayfield are fined £275 plus another £100 suspended for a year. That is about right however for the result to still stand is nonsense!

Clearly the rule book did not matter when deciding that the result will stand, and for Hunslet to be given the win is rubbish! The game had at least 25 minutes left if not more and even though Hunslet were winning, Mayfield came out the stronger and better side in the 2nd half.

This game should be played again, FACT!!!

i was at that game Warriors scored a try straight after half-time to take the score out to 28-4 they also bombed a try shortly after. that team Mayfield had out on the day would not have beaten the Warriors if they were still playing now.The NCL commitee viewed the match vidio in full and must have thought likewise, when making the decision the result stand,s.

Just because they scored a try straight after half time does not mean that they were going to win, especially when there was at least 25 minutes left in the game. Plus if the game has not played over a certain time frame (68 mins) the result at the time should not stand and a rematch should take place. It’s a poor decision made.

Ha ha ha ha ha

Mayfield could only manage to score 4 points in 60 mins, what makes you think they could have scored 25 in 20 mins?

I dont think the punishment is severe enough, time and time again it is the same teams that are involved in the uglyscenes. If they wan to fight then let them go elsewhwere away from a rugby pitch and stop dragging our great game through the gutter,it nearly always involves a team from the Leeds area causing the trouble, you dont often see the top sides from leigh,Wigan,Halifax,Hull causing problems, they just want to play rugby on a saturday.Mayfield used to have a bad reputation in the eighties for bullying and intimidating teams and referees, until they met their match in Elland who demorolised them time and time again..leopards never change their spots it seams....rant over !!!!

you dont often see the top sides from leigh, Wigan, Halifax, Hull causing problems,

You must have had your eyes closed the last 27 years.   :nono:

Of the 6 teams expelled during that time from the NCL, 3 of them were from Halifax...  :ireful:

i'm aware you might have been busy up there in the hills, so we'll let you off this time

Google Rochdale Mayfield v Siddal on youtube and see what you come up with.

As regards dragging our great game through the gutter, it's little weasels like yourself who come on these forums and rather than talking about rugby make snide comments about every team except their own and think that people don't pick up on it. Grow up and disappear.

Let me get this right. East Hull can't hang onto players, Leigh East have in house wrangling, Hunslet Warriors think they're fantastic when they're not, Rochdale Mayfield are bullies and it's always teams from Leeds who are involved in fighting and dragging our game through the gutter. If you are a team in the Halifax area you are perfect. Yes got it - now please go away.

Thats my point mate, the game was not played past 60 minutes.
