Right Wayne, let's get you sorted. By the way, it's nowhere near ¾ mile from the bus station to the ground at Leigh, more like half that distance. If I walk it, it takes about 10-15 minutes at most. But, let's get you onto the bus service you want eh?

The bus which runs from Leigh Bus Station to LSV (and back) is the no. 597 which is hourly on Sundays.

The bus from the bus station (stand M) to LSV leaves at 39 minutes past each hour and the journey takes only 5 minutes. (14.39 gets to the ground 16 mins before the KO).

Coming back, the bus leaves LSV at 51 minutes past each hour with the LAST BUS being 16.51 (just after the match) getting to the bus station at 16.56 in time for the 26 (17.05)  or the 12 (17.21).

Try looking on the Transport for Greater Manchester website. You can work out what buses go from various bus stations and find all the services and times you need.  See below the link to the timetable for the 597 bus Boothstown-LSV via Leigh Bus Station.
