KELLS 30
EGREMONT Rangers 22

Bit of a shock considering their league status or a typical Cumbrian derby ?? Any reports on the game ??

I'd say a typical Cumbrian derby. Kells won it in the first 20 mins with three consecutive tries against a poor Egremont defence. After that it was a little more even, looking back Egremont probably had the most chances but they either got held up at the line or knocked on or gave away stupid penalties. Kells seemed to convert their chances into points and thats what made them the deserved winners. Good luck to Kells in the rest of the cup.

We've got Kells rated as better than a good portion of the Premier - this result bears that out. They're way stronger than most of Div 3 apart from Blackbrook and Underbank really. Oh and Pilks.

The big test for Kells will be how well they can travel away from home and perform against good teams, they are formidable at home but apart from Pilks they are untested on there travels, Milford should be a good test for them
