a friend of mine is in an indie/brit pop covers band which he is thinking of re-naming due to their current name clashing with too many other things online, my 3 suggestions were

1.gammy leg

2.the trouser dept

3. monkey chunks

got any better ideas?

Nah, Kill A Gorilla will attract the Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, WWF, Peta, hunt saboteurs and assorted treehugging types. Obviously they'll come to boo and parade about in a "look at me" manner that they can't command in any other part of their lives. Beforehand, some will even have a wash and they'll all be driven to the gig in their daddy's Rangerover with the I slow for horses screen sticker.

But at least the band will shift tickets.

;) :D

Best band name I remember has to be the US hardcore band 'Fearless Iranians From Hell'

No I don't care if you're if you're into different bands

No cause for so much hatred, I'm just a different man

Pull off that cover, I will too, and learn to understand

With music deep inside we'll make world unity our plan

There's a folk band in Bradford called Free Sandwiches. Landlords daren't post the band's name name on advertising boards placed outside the pubs where they are playing.

I remember the tastefully named Hull punk band - Lord Mounbatten's Bits And Pieces.
