Attendance of 1006, highest of the season so far?

I'm guessing most of that comes from the kids playing tag rugby beforehand, most of whom probably left before the match started.

You must have been in the toilet when they all did their lap of honour at half time then...

Great :-/

i take it back, George stokes fantastic today best I've seen him ref,the offside from us was spot on,Johnny p was offside at play of ball tried back tracking but didn't come back far enough and was rightly penalised.maybe the one thing he missed was the bad tackle on scotty should have been put it on report but can only give what he sees. today fantastic game and a superb performance from the knights.

Superb TEAM effort again, well deserved 3 points.
I did fear after totally dominating that first 40 minutes that we only went in 12-0 up and it just was a worry that Marchys mob would get a foothold in the second half, which it did look like it could have happened for a brief period.
Some great efforts, George was a worthy mom, the pack (all Superb) again laid the foundations for our halfbacks to kick Cougars to death with Si Brown and Ben getting better every week.
Just like to give a rap to a lad that just goes about his game very quiet but to me has been a fantastic solid and under-rated signing, Jack Latus, he rarely makes a mistake, makes good yards and his positioning and defence is also very good.
A big well done again, some strange results today so this was a massive win, we need to keep up this standard of performance now for the rest of the season and its a must that the away performances have to improve and points be picked up even in the shape of a bonus point here or there.

Shadow

Think at least 300 must have been watching from the long grass behind the sticks ! If it gets any longer we'll be opening a safari park. Never 1,000 there today, pop stand no fuller than normal and main stand half empty.

Anyhow back to the result, much deserved against a clueless yet physical and dogged Cougars side. Too many performances to mention all, however Browny kicked them to death, Elliott was superb, Hadley is a claas act , Aldous was immense and we clearly missed him when he was sat out for a rest, Pickles looks a great prospect and Freer is definitely a much improved player from last season. 1st half tackling was ferocious and twice we pushed them back over their own in-goal area from within field of play........must do wonders for the confidence. Thought we just let them back in the game and slightly worried as we should have had more points on the board by HT but we honestly never looked like losing.

Strange league this one so simply need any points we can get to stay there next season.

Well done

Never 1,000 there today, pop stand no fuller than normal and main stand half empty.

There were over 300 Kids, Parents and Teachers for the tag tournament (which was great fun - really glad I came early) - all were counted through a turnstile and many of them were still around at fulltime. Sponsors also count towards the official attendance and there was a full house again. Not to mention a lot of Keighley fans congregating outside the Pop Stand.

With a capacity of 3428 and 5 sponsors boxes of 10 each plus the boardroom - 1006 wouldn't feel any tighter than 600 in all honesty.

I feel that rather than questioning things like this, we should be happy that we're finally becoming a winning side in this league, glad there's some great entertainment on the pitch and glad the crowds seem to be filtering back and bringing an atmosphere with them.

Rose tinting done. ;)

A thoroughly professional performance, the forwards worked their socks off and it appears that young Johnston has added some much needed zip in the halves, hope he can stay injury free this time round.

Hate to keep on about it but results yesterday showed how important it will be that the Knights get their away form sorted out and pick up some bonuses.

Be nice to pick up some wins though wouldn't it? Fev got beat at home by Donny, so we could do it to others.
We've got Leigh next and they got beat by Worky away, so theyll be smarting abit - let's hope the promise of riches hasn't reaped rewards and theyre less motivated than they were at our place.

Nice? It would be firkin fantastic!!!! As for that result at Post Orifice Road, after watching Donny last week it doesn't make any sense, although from what I hear the Fev players decided to play tag rugby with Cookey instead of putting him down.

all ifs and buts, but if we beat haven, barrow and hunsfit at home, the bottem 2 teams would have to win 5 of their remaining 10 fixtures to pass us excluding bonus points of course
