The path and fencing will be complete (Weather permitting) for the next home game on 8th March.

The path is already complete from the South Stand to the posts. The Fencing was delivered last Thursday.

This work is to make the four sides of the pitch consistent in appearance but will not allow public access to the Western
end of the Ground on match days.

No further Ground Developments will take place until the new Car Park / Training Pitch / 5 - a - side pitches are in place
on completion of the Housing Development.

There are other small projects which will continue for the rest of 2015 - such as seating on the area by the Water Tank
(again this should be completed by the 8th March),clearing the areas around the masts, provisions for temporary car parking
facilities at the west side of the stadium during the Housing Development and completion of the painting of the North Stand
ironwork.  Plus, of course, the continuation of the fantastic renovation works around the ground currently being undertaken
by the Amber Ribbon Gang including the South Stand Bar.

Amazing work. What a great time to be a Dewsbury fan.

Can't help thinking that we've missed a good opportunity to extend the length of the pitch while doing work at that end. It's very tight between the fence and the in goal area, which can be dangerous and it would go some way to stopping other clubs from saying that our field is like a postage stamp.

There are going to be seats near the water tank then? That seems like a strange place to put them. Exactly where near the tank then?

It's the width they criticise, but only when they lose.

They can moan all they like about the size of the pitch. It works to our advantage.

Widening the pitch would effectively mean knocking down a stand and re-building it a few yards back. I like the pitch as it is, makes for intense games.

I love our pitch. I love it when it annoys opposition coaches.

Featherstone's chief executive was on Radio Leeds last night saying that they had lengthened their pitch to make it a 100 metre arena after the new stand was built.
When Ossett were going to come on board a few years back I recall that we were going to do the same.

If the width of our pitch is within the rules and regulations of the rfl, then I can't understand why other club's coaches like to complain, what is the official length and width of the pitch at Tetley's Stadium anyway.

Andy, I'm not talking about the width! This is not achievable with the grandstands being too close. I'm talking about the Length.
