Wigan St Judes ARLFC charity bike ride

St Judes A.R.L.F.C Tower to Tower Charity Bike Ride 2013, on behalf of Christie Hospital, in relation to raising money for a mobile Chemotherapy treatment unit.

The bike ride will start the 1st week in July 2013, leaving on Sunday 30th June and returning Saturday 6th July.
The route Paris to Blackpool is approximately 500 miles, over 50 hours in the saddle, burning off 25,000 calories, includes 6 actual days cycling.

In total there are 10 riders and 4 back-up personnel driving the support vehicles.

Participants are paying for their own accommodation, food and are willing to use annual leave from work.
Corporate sponsors are being approached if anyone is willing to support, to help fund transportation and ferry crossings.

We are also attempting to achieve a sponsorship for the Cycling shirts for all riders, should anyone be interested in supporting this.
