The Hornets chant from the players on the pitch at the end of the game at Oxford was great.
Got everyone going and showed the appreciation for each other from both fans and players. I know they usually do it in the dressing room but could we please have it on the pitch after every game.
Great win on Sunday but can we please play for the FULL 80 MINUTES
At my age my heart won't stand much more of the switching off  that we seem to be doing or the failure to switch on for the first 40 minutes.

Yes great that the lads reappeared on the pitch to warm down & the perform the victory song. Lets hope they do it after every game we win from now on! Also nice to see the coaching staff join in aswell.

This is the main point I think.  Never, during this run have the players attempted to deflect any criticism onto Ian Talbot.  They accept the blame and that's half the battle as far as I'm concerned.

I've corresponded with Crooky a few times via Twitter and Facebook and he is as keen as mustard which again attests to the spirit in the club.  I'm sure that if we all get behind the lads and try to pull them through any dodgy periods with some vociferous support this will be a successful season for us!

I think I prefer the song "They call us Hornets" from the Frank Myler era.

My best guess is:

I know who and what I am

I'm a mighty Hornets Fan

We play hard and we play fast

Ain't no way we're coming last

We believe it's Hornets' year

Then you'll hear the Hornets cheer

When we go in for a try

Then you'll hear the Hornets cry

Hornets are you ready, ready

Yes we are ready , ready

Oooooooooh….

I think this is a great way to get the players geed up for the fray, but I never harboured any thoughts that there was anything but togetherness in the camp.  Bradford had something like this during their successful period of the Bulls era.

If anyone has a spare seat or two available I would like to go to this one.  The only thing is I can't get into the back of a car.  I'm getting to as many as I can as my 'season' will probably be over in a couple of months at most.  I' cram as many games in as I can before the decision.

This is from the "Office" Newsletter:

A couple of members have emailed and asked for the words to the 'Hornets are you Ready Ready' Victory song, first sung to the travelling faithful at Gloucester and repeated at Oxford last weekend (Video HERE )

These are the lead words, usual led by Dave Hull, and are repeated by the rest of the lads:

I know who and what I am

I'm a mighty Hornets Man

We play hard and we play fast

Ain't no way we're coming last

Two-O-thirteen is Hornets year

Then you'll hear the Hornets cheer

When we go in for a try

then you'll hear the cry

Hornets are you ready, ready?

Yes, we are ready, ready!

Hornets are you ready, ready?

Yes we are ready, ready!

Whooooo (this line is variable to suit any vent in the game etc).

Now get practicing !!!!!
