I don't believe that we 'just' had enough players to form a team. We all know there are players on the sidelines waiting to play that aren't injured.

Statements attributed to GM said that he was struggling to raise 17 fit players for the game. Personally I'm not privy to any other information so trust in the club that these statements are true.

Did he say fit players for the game or players fit for the game. The former is down to injury, the latter is of GM's own making, after all he signed them - all except James Craven, who was more or less signed by the chairman. Maybe that's where the problem lies - JC wasn't actually one of Glenn's choices. Craven would, I think, be an automatic choice in most championship sides, so what other conclusion can you draw. I can not for the life of me understand why one of WJ's most potent strike players, in a struggling team, become unworthy of consideration for a team we are led to believe are decimated by injury.
