taking the p*ss steve but i do think your assessment of him is over the top. he wasn't much more than an average super league player during his time for mine but he does excel at this level when he wants

the guy has no doubt underachieved in the game, considering his talent, mainly due to personal problems but i still beleive his partnership with Horne at Hull should have been the GB/ England half back for years to come.Too much money and agents talk moved him to HKR and maybe him and Dobson never gelled at half back, i tell you what  Leeds are on about a replacement half back in Jamie Soward, i know who id bring in if i were Gary Hetherington...

His long pass for a try tonight was about 3 yards forward.   He was on the 10 metre line when he passed it and the winger caught it about 3 yards from the line!!!!!       Where does he go for most of the matches?

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Brough has improved big time , i,ll give you that daz but hes still more of a kicker imo - a very good one- but cooke,y just makes it all look ridiculously easy.On another point how Stefan Ratchford cant get in the England team is beyond me.
