The excitement being generated by tonight's game is almost overwhelming. Clearly combining the prospect of another (last) visit to DVS with the probability of another convincing defeat leavened by a match on the telly is limiting our collective enthusiasm. I had toyed with the thought of going but have overcome such instincts, so will be limiting myself to vicarious excitement.

I predict:

Eagles 38 - 18 Rams

Att: 600 (they only seem to do round numbers as DVS - reminiscent of DRLFC attendances of yore)

Dunno where you get that from Johnny. 1028 last week - what are you expecting ? Decimals ?

As this is a cup game at the DVS, the attendance will be announced as 467!

Kane Bentley is provisionally selected on the Bench.

Big thanks to the 20 or so people who have taken advantage of purchasing cheap tickets from the club.

I am sure the players will be grateful for the support.

The day after the game the attendance was stated as 1000. They must have counted up all of the half-crowns subsequently.
