Dunno. Everyone seems to expect it to be close.

I don't!

if donnys forwards play like they did against us, they could make life difficult for sheff. also, sheff wont be the only team with a kicking game.

Many other sides would have beaten us on that performance OR.

Sheffield are a massively different proposition.

It might be good to have the game put back 'til later in the season. July is looking a tough month with Batley, Fax & Sheffield all on consecutive weekends. They might welcome a rest after the first two with the current crop of injuries.

Fev'll be a point behind us if they win their game in hand.

Not all that massive a difference.

excellent news for us - an extra fixture for sheff at end of season to us more than likely, the pressure might be on for them to have to get a result

Yes, the approaching fixture pile-up is becoming a big concern. Let's hope the Cup Final isn't drawn. We could have up to 18 games still to play.

I reckon fev v budgies will be re arranged for a thur night for premier sports  this would be a good decision if it happens because they wont be bringing many to game as always and this way money from sky sports would be in favour of fev just a thought

As far as I am aware there is little or no TV money for the Thursday night games.

I would suggest the Sunday of the CC weekend thought this still has issues since lots go down to London for that weekend and it is a bank holiday neither of which will help for a big crowd, but does give us an option to market the game with supporters from other clubs since most will not have a game this weekend.
I'm sure I'll think of something funny to say soon.

All Championship clubs have a game on the Thursday prior to the Challenge Cup Final weekend Dave. Before Griff replies Sheffield could be in it anyway.

Sunday 25th Aug at 6:0pm or even 7:30pm would give most fans the chance to get back from London. Or maybe the B/H Monday at 7:30pm would be a good alternative as it would also give the players an extra days rest from the Thursday evening games? It's in the school holidays, so a late kick-off wouldn't affect the kids too much. The only supporters that would miss out are those scheduled to be away on holiday, but as it could be the league title decider we could get a few neutrals....Unless of course Sheffield reach Wembley!
