I think we've all done daft stuff when drunk but smashing a car window is a bit much, oh dear George and just when big mac is over there I hope this doesn't give him an excuse not to include George in the squad as I'm sure the one about not having enough first grade experience is wearing thin.

According to this source, he's been "suspended indefinitely". Oh dear!

It would've looked like a scene out of The Hulk,

Hope he's out for at least two weeks.

"Indefinitely" isn't the sack, it's just the new black.

It's all a roose to get the Rabbitohs to release him from his contract and the Aussie govt to deport him, paving the way for a big money move to Salford.

100% nailed on.

He's been suspended for two matches and fined $10,000. He will also pay for the cost of the damage, undergo an anger management program and commit to a further 50 hours (in addition to his existing commitments) of community support work through Souths Cares.

Looks like he's taken to the NRL lifestyle like a duck to water.

God bless the keyboard warrior.

What a stupid thing to do George. You have let down your family, your club and your team mates.

The silver lining in this is that Tom is replacing him in the squad for the game this weekend against the Eels.

But what a stupid thing to do, criminal records can cause visa issues and every act has a consequence. Hope he learns his lesson quick, although im sure his mum will give him a good kicking!

Apparently Tom Burgess will be making his debut for Souths this weekend...

...Or will he?

Sounds like the kind of silly drunken incident that many 20 year olds get up to. However, as a high-profile professional athlete this kind of behaviour isn't really on. Hopefully he's stood down for a couple of weeks and he learns his lesson.

He has said all of the right things and took it on the Chin.

People do silly things at times, everyone does, its how you deal with it and move forward that counts.

No one has been hurt, George seems like a pretty good bloke that made a mistake.

Something in the water down there eh?.. well, the dirty water.. If this type of stupidity carries on i don't think it will be too long before the NRL make an example of someone and dish out a big ban.

They already have, Blake Ferguson looks like he may be in big trouble.

I think there is some cause for concern, at least at a general level. For some reason, and it seems to affect English players more than most, as soon as a player starts hearing that they're a top player they start acting like idiots. Perhaps it's the media who don't bother reporting these things until the player becomes a star, but I think you could find hundreds of examples where players think they've 'made it' and their development grinds to a halt prematurely. Hope this doesn't happen here.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
