Absolute disgrace to call it off at such short notice they should be fined by the RFLC but we all know that will never happen, we have no game scheduled now for a further two weeks that will be nearly five weeks without a game.

Its poor if they can't scrape a team together, and more importantly disappointing for our lads who probably couldn't wait for a match on Saturday.

Yeah sorry state of affairs after the Roughyeds bent over backwards to get to there place for 12.30 ko and had to run two buses down that day for u20s and first team. Surely we should just be given the points instead?

If that's the position hemel u20's are in then should they be allow to be in the competition in the first place? I know they are a "new" club, but they have been around long enough as an amateur team to know the score

Suspect that both Hemel Hempstead and South Wales want to cut out the cost of the coach up here, rather than actually having a shortage of players, but they should have thought about before they joined the competition. The travel costs, combined with poor crowds and limited fixtures are crippling in this league, but the traditional clubs know they will be penalised if they do not fulfil their matches so struggle on, despite any cash flow difficulties they may have. Doubt this will be the case for the 'new' clubs though. We have a very dedicated coaching and playing staff who put many hours into their training regime - they must be very discouraged. It is a disgrace.
