I was going to go to the Barrow game but with that fool in charge I am not going to bother.  I am in that neck of the woods as well, shame the man is complete and utter fool.

Baffling.

It's sad to see that supporters like myself who attend both home and away games are being influenced by certain referees past performances involving our team in their decisions not to go to the game.
Gareth Hewer has officiated in two of our games this season at both Sheffield and York (both lost in very controversial circumstances).
At some of the games that I have attended impartiality is all you expect but sometimes that very aspect comes into question for example Mr George Stokes at Leigh in a game we actually did win.
The standards being set in the Championship are well below standard and Stuart Cummins needs to address this as more and more disgruntled fans will start taking "Lingards" view.

Stuart Cummings has, of course, retired.

Does any team ever win games in controversial circumstances or is it just controversial when they lose ?

Aye .... I remember rovers getting the rub v dews at home a couple of years back.
I remember sheff coming back into the game v rovers at Bramhall lane when jimbo leahy gave rovers a pen try for ripping out over the line!
Of course teams win in controversial circumstances
