Harry Hawk and club staff will be at the White Rose Shopping Centre today from 2pm promoting our game on Sunday vs Swinton Lions. As part of our new working partnership with the White Rose, we will be visiting the Centre more regularly and working with the centre to help promote both the club and the centre.
The partnership kicked off last week with a social media 'Fathers’ day' campaign to win a Hawks Away shirt and Family ticket for the Swinton game, which proved a huge success. We will also be advertising our games on the LCD screens in the centre as well as having a “Hunslet Experience” banner on one of the mini roundabouts leading into the centre car parks. We will have a Hawks stall in the centre on the 25th July promoting the club and our game v Leigh Centurions.
Marketing Director Gareth Evans said “We are delighted to have this chance to work with the White Rose Centre. The centre is used by thousands of people from across the city and surrounding areas on a daily basis and the exposure that we will get from this innovative idea will allow us to spread the word that the Hawks are moving forward. I would like to thank Nikki Appleton and Samantha Knight from the White Rose Centre for their help in making this happen”
So if you are in the White Rose Centre shopping today, look out for Harry and come and say hello!
