i assume our gameplan is to take it from dummy half 5 times and maybe in between drop it as much as we can.

especially near the sheffield line. brilliant.

shocking play from batley tonight.we needed kegan on the park tonight in those conditions and am sure he would a made good yards in the first half downhill so why he were waterboy am not sure. too much dropped ball in key plays when up the jumper would have had us nearer the line.  too much greedy play coming back into the batley side near the line last few games when all it needs is a simple pass to the man in  coming in support at pace.couple of great breaks and even with players in support the pass dident happen time after time. johnson must a done something wrong tonight as he were one on one with tpg who were puffing and blowing limping in open space and needed running at but the ball never came out to him for 25 minutes, it were like watching dewsbury from 2 years ago. i know the ref gave some strange calls but we dident even look that interested in the first 20 and were like frightened rabbits giving too much respect to the eagles. they need to play the dvd back all week to the lads and hope they lift for leigh game.

I've seen some 'one-man rugby' in 60 years, but that takes the biscuit! Or was the actual game plan?

No disrespect to Sheffield. A very good team and deserving of their position.

As the score suggests there wasn't much between the two teams. The Dogs game plan should have been to move the ball wide(especialy in the first half) to tire the opposition forwards.Would have made a h-ll of a difference in the latter stages of the game.Be frustrating playing in the three quarters.Personaly I think, if, they use the backs at Leigh, they will come away with a good win.

Poor conditions effected both sides but we could have done more near Sheffield's line There were scoring chances on the left hand side when Sheffield only had two or three defenders in that  half of the pitch. Batley out numbered them but the ball still kept going  right to where Sheffield had most of its defenders.
