For England aye, but he's better than Channing, Roets and Lee Williams. Only from watching tonight I remembered he is eligible for us.

Watkins has one shirt nailed on. However, if the first letter falls off then it's Atkins' for the taking.

I can't see England not picking him.

He wasn't in the squad for the exiles game, and when you factor in the Australian based players the English have then he needs to hit great form to work his way in.

will be invisible against the aussies, 2 knock ons-4 missed tackles and will limp off after 60 mins

the inside of a 3star halex table tennis ball smells much like you'd expect it to.

If we could get Atkins and Briers, it would look a lot more promising team.

Has Rhys Evans switched as well?

Yes. Is he injured or just totally out of favour.

How do Warrington stay

Yes, he announced his intention recently. Is he injured or just totally out of favour?

How do Warrington stay under salary cap??? They've also got Bridge on the books. Serious question.

We can't predict injuries, plus there will be squad to pick, not just the team.

What I'd really hope is for Leon Pryce to find a Welsh ancestor.

We have finished top only 1 year, surely if our squad was so good (and over the cap) we would be romping it every year?

Or perhaps we just have a load of players who people think are average.

By being clever and well done to them, most businesses bend the rules as far as possible and I hope other SL teams do it as well. Except for Leeds of course who pay their players minimum wage.

I cant see even a numpty like McBanana picking him.

Atkins is at best 5th choice behind Cudjoe, Watkins, Reed & Hardacre. In fact probably Yeaman & Jordan Turner are in better form than Atkins and would get picked ahead of him, so he might as well start hunting for that long lost welsh granny

Atkins can't be bothered to commit for England. He's always unavailable. Might do a job for Wales though. Would probably fancy a go in the World Cup and the type of atmosphere you'd get in the Wales, Scotland or Ireland camp might suit him better.

Is that true, I only recall him being unavailable one year due to an operation, and he has openly expressed his desire to be included in the England squad.

Toured in 2010, then in 2011 he made him self unavailable, was called back for last year and withdrew through injury.

I could easily be wrong, but from memory I don't believe he was selected in 2011. There was a big thing about him battling for his place back in 2012.

Something clearly happened on tour in 2010, as at the time, I remember Atkins making himself unavailable, then when he was back for 2012, Steve Mac & Atkins had kissed and made up, with Mac saying he was impressed with Atkins' improved attitude. Then he got crocked again.
