Former World Boxing Champion Evander Holyfield will be at the Tetley's Stadium on Sunday 15th September for an event promoted by Sports Media Productions.

Nicknamed "The Real Deal" after winning both the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight World Championships, Holyfield is a true world boxing legend.

He will talk about his past career, his battles with the likes of Tyson, Foreman and Holmes in a not to be missed event which also includes a two course Sunday Lunch.

Starting at 2pm there will also be an opportunity to have your own personal photo taken with this boxing legend and there will be a number of pieces of boxing memorabilia signed by Holyfield available for purchase by auction.

The cost of the afternoon with Holyfield is £80 per person which includes the cost of the lunch and the photograph.

For further information or to book your place contact Tony on 07912 983671 leedslegends60@yahoo.co.uk or Rick on 07854 525321

Places are limited so early booking is recommended.

I assume £80 is a misprint

To be honest, I would have expected a much higher price.

C'mon, he played stand off at Mount Unpleasant in the early 90's, you must remember him!

Credit to the club for this.

Should be a great afternoon, he must have a few tales to tell.

Hope everyone gets behind it and makes it a success.

I can't see many paying £80 to listen to an ex-boxer talk, no matter how famous.

Let's hope that it pays off though.

I've got to say I agree, but I don't think this is really aimed at Ram's Fan's, this is for the Boxing Fraternity who will pay any amount of money to see & hear their superstar's

I'd want to see the menu first.  Probably New York Strip and Cajun Cockles. Can't see Evander Holyfield taking to pie and mushy peas with a tripe side dish.

Perhas he might like to try sauteed ear-lobe though, to see what Mike Tyson was so eager to taste?

Don't see why not mahtsalleh - he'd be OK with a Wall's pork pie - its well known that walls have ears.

Hoping the club can get Evander Holyfield with a Rams shirt or having his photo taken on the pich in front of the club's new sponsor's name,if we know by September.Could be a nice bit of promotion,if done properly.

Back in 92 i had the good fortune to win a television quiz , the prize was a trip to vegas for two to see holyfield fight tyson at caesers palace . at the last minute the fight was cancelled as tyson hurt his wrist which was a bummer but the prize organisers took me and my pal to a training gym to see sugar ray leonard and i had my photo taken with my arm round sugar ray with him reckoning to punch me , that photo was worth a mint to me as my most prized possession but unfortunatly went missing a few years ago as did the video of our week in vegas knobbing with the illuminati . i reckon £80 for a lunch with a legend is remarkable value.

I think the club will be announcing a sunday afternoon with a well known controversial comedian in the royal suite in october shortly . Tickets will be i think £20 or £30 for a vip  gig with the fat b-----d .
