Vice Chief of Defence Staff to attend Armed Forces World Cup

The RFL is delighted to announce that that Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, Vice Chief of Defence Staff will be guest of honour at the final of the 2013 Armed Forces Rugby League World Cup final.

The Armed Forces World Cup will see hosts Great Britain compete against Australia, New Zealand and Serbia from Sunday June 30 to Saturday July 13 at Colchester Garrison for the right to be crowned world champions and Air Chief Marshal Peach will be on hand to present the trophy to the winning captain.

That's an interesting one; this man isn't paricularly known for his people skills (ex-RAF pilot so understandable!), something a bit crazy considering he is VCDS. However, good to see the Chain of Command supporting the competition. Come on GB!
