Good luck tomorrow. Hope you get the 3 points.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

If you are privy to such information you could have waited to post this nearer the time ? Surely this is a heads up for York now ? Hmmm :/

How about this ?

fullback     Backy or Mcgillvary

wings        Lowe  & Clay

centres     Harrison . Toal or Jones

Halves      Finch & Casey  ( Camby when available )

front row   Butler  Mossop  Brennan

2nd row    Haggerty & Spencer

loose        Toal or Jones

Bench from   Dawson  Dandy  Wiper  Haggarty  Backy /Mcgillvary

This would give us two big, solid, and fast centres,( which we havn't had up to now )

It would allow Camby to revert to halfback when he is available.

and we still have a good pack.

Toally played in the centre for Ulverston.
Harrison has been great in the forwards, but we need two centres.
Lets face facts, it cant be worse than what we have been playing

Having just clicked on and read the link, i have to slightly disagree with the titlle "crowd key to game", i would personally say the dual reg players available to york will be the key, i guess we have to hope that with Hull fc playing tonight, they will rest a few ahead of next weekends fixtures, meaning some of the potentially available players to york will not be available.

Fear not, York have turned down the services of Jason Crookes, Jamie Shaul, Liam Kent and Josh Bowden.

Bull at left centre with Twiggy outside him would do nicely.  Our middle backs are our biggest weakness I think.

I wonder if this is a PR stunt because they think they can beat us with the squad they have? Didn't see them making these statements in previous games......or am I being cynical?????

Come on Raiders stick it up em...

York had up to 11 players missing, now most are back so we don't need as many D/R players and we can refuse 4 from Hull, simples. :P

Encouraging stuff from Barrow but too many errors, gift of a try 12-6 just when we were getting back into it anall.

Edit, Finchy in :P good kick 12-12 come on lads.

Edit York in on the whistle, but Backy collided with the ref going for the grubber but try given :(

good effort from the lads and good scrambling defence, were in with a chance here, just hope we score next confidence wise.

PS Great support from the Travelling Barrow fans. HT 18-12
