Wasn't he the one who caused a fuss on twitter due to alleged comments from the terraces?

If he is better than what we have got then that's ok. But if not i cannot see the reasoning behind getting him for a month what's wrong with the reserves we have got

Doesn't sound like the type of player Faisal's money would have been spent on?

He's on loan. We have injury problems at prop.

I will go on Sunday as I have promised a. Commitment, then I am finished with the forum and the way I feel, the club forever.

If you're saying we have problems at prop, this is not the answer. For the love of our team Robin Evans and myself would be better back up at prop. This is not a sleight on the lad, but at best he's a back rower at best in our 21s. Daz is shrewd,, Cas are in transition, he'd not let any real good ens go at this point.

I was merely replying to the previous poster, to point out that this move may not be anything like representative of the club's overall signings policy.

In my opinion he won't get in the side on current form.
Of course, other opinions may differ

Don't know. Ask Ryan.
And no, he hasn't played for us yet. I can't see who's place in the team he is likely to threaten.

We're probably down to the bare bones at prop if any one of our current rotation of four (which now includes Lamont) get injured. It's not easy to find a replacement at short notice so if Martin was available on loan it probably made sense to get him in. My guess is he'll get a chance at some stage, but it wasn't likely to be in the two big games we've just had against Batley & Halifax.

My guess is he'll get a chance at some stage, but it wasn't likely to be in the two big games we've just had against Batley & Halifax.

We now have 5 props if you count Locky and Lamont, who can alternate between front & second row, and if we have 5 relatively "easier" games (guessing that we will play Sheffield some mid-week evening in the last week of August),then each of them could take it in turns to have a well deserved rest as 18th man. This would give Charlie a chance to prove himself, as long as he will be available for the play-offs, otherwise we might as well not bother.
I would also like to see Jonny Hepworth get a game or two at 6 or 13 to try and get him back to form. Likewise with Tommy Hodson, because the fringe players need to be ready to step in to cover unexpected injury.
