I'd pay to watch England RL v England football.  The RL half of the game would be priceless, I'd make it a condition that John Terry be captain and Ashley Cole run back the first ball at kick-off.

 Would swearing at the ref and linesmen be compulsory in the soccer part of the game?

Apart from it being a stupid idea do you think the union lions would be remotely interested?

Rochdale Hornets played Rochdale AFC in the 60s, one half RL, one half soccer.

Refereed by Eric Cantona!

Sounds like an enjoyable shambles: "...with rolling subs to give everyone a chance to play, soon players weren't leaving the field after being subbed, and at one stage it was 15 vs 11. Staff also took to the field, and teams became mixed. Toulon players wore Marseille shirts, and vice versa."

Looked a hoot esp as 2 different ball games unlike Union/League....I wonder if the NRL and AFL will do something like it.
