Apologises for late posting 70 mins gone Oldham 22 Oxford 4

 

Looking like a very good win

 

The way I see it we have dropped two points all season by the defeat at home to Oxford, we deserved to lose against Rochdale and were unlucky against NW away.

 

A win today we will have 27 points, one less the NW on 28 but we have played a game more tho.

Good team performance turned over a lot of ball in our own half but wins a win a workmanlike performance and the two props mason and haggerty from barrow battered Oxford up the middle a team short of ideas to break us down. Up the Yeds

Another quality win seems along time ago we were P3 W1. Be interesting what happens. 5 games left, then most probably playoffs. Seems Skolars have shown a bit of good form lately.

Here's a question.  Does anyone think there should be bonus points for significant win margin?

 

We put 48 point on Hornets and conceded no point against and still we only get 3 points for a win. If we had winning bonus points we would be well clear of the chasing pack.

You ask this on the OLDHAM forum? Most of us would give you 6 points for beating the Hairnets 48 - 0. That is if we were not chasing you for the league!

Dont think there should be bonu point for winning margain but deffinatly a bonus point for score 4/5 tries.
