Having visited Wigan st judes gym / wrestling facility . In my opinion got to be the envy of many amateur and some championship clubs . First class gym fully equipped very impressive .

Is this the best in the conference ?

A few years ago our players came up with the idea of a gym, so one of our sponsors provided the building materials at cost price, and several of the players built it in their spare time and did a fantastic job.   The RFL then provided us with a £5000 grant to equip it and we were fortunate enough to have a contact at Leeds University who provided us with some nearly new equipment.  Our main problem has always been monitoring membership, as the guys come along (together with their mates) and we don't have the man power to oversee who visits and whose a paid member.   :rtfm:

Not a conference side but we have a ex-player who opened his own gym recently, he gives very cheap membership to our registered players and allows the club to use it free on a organised gym training session.

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.
