Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell have both tested positive for banned substances.

The drug problems in athletics seem to run and run.


Lousy news for the sport, especially with the World Championships coming up soon. At least they continue to catch cheats. There are a lot of sports that do far less than Athletics when it comes to testing and general vigilance.

Meanwhile we must all believe that those lovely cyclists can do uphills, sprinting and recovery like that because of their 'diet'.

 

And tennis players can do five hours in the heat of the day on a banana.

To be fair on Cycling, these days they catch even more cheats than Athletics. They seem to have responded appropriately to all the criticism.
