He should be released from his contract without further ado
These momentary lapses of temper would never happen in rugby league utopia

That is a major blow - both in experience on the pitch and creative ability.

And waiting in the wings we have our back up scrum half and tactical kicker ...............?

I would play Brad Dwyer at Scrum Half with Ainscough at Standoff. Then we could have either Craig Harvey of Liam Hulme on the bench as cover for half back or hooker.

Ritchie Hawkyard is due back too so he could play Scrum Half as that was his original position.

Richie Hawkyard is due back too so he could play...

"Richie" Yes, Ian, that's the correct way of spelling his name, or at least the diminutive of his actual name, Richard.

So why do the club, on their website and in the programme, persist in spelling it including a letter "T" (Ritchie) when the name Richard has no such T in it?

A prime example of the name "Richie" must surely be the former Aussie cricketer and broadcaster Richie Benaud.

Ritchie Blackmore, or possibly more around your era, Ritchie Valens?

Depends on how you choose to spell it, especially if it is a 'nickname'!

Would appear there is a problem for Sunday - Brad Dwyer is not available, Craig Harvey and Chaz are coming back from injury - not sure about Liam.............so as they say it never rains only pours...........:(
