Good allround performance today. I think we would have won by a lot more if the ref had stopped them constantly straying off side and being right on top of us all the time and the ridiculous laying on by them. Well done

Agree with what you say, Town played well within themselves and paced well through game. Good 3 points.

i thought it was a good performance against a very poor side who will be playing championship 1 rugby next year. we dropped quite a lot of ball and let them offload on a lot of occasions but apart from that we done what was needed without plaing to our potential. lupton controlled the game and his kicking was excellant and i thought deserved man of the match. connor was a lot better today although 1 and quite possibly 2 of his conversions missed but the linos gave them.

Yeah it could quite easily have been 60 but we were unable to get a quick PTB due to the laying on and its hard to get going when the defensive line are constantly on top of you.there was Some well taken tries today.

It looked like we were in second gear really . In the games to come we've got to be sharper , especially in attack . The silly errors always worry me though , theyre endemic in our game ,even in perfect conditions we make to many basic handling errors , and these will kill you in tougher games . We always seem to just do enough . I often feel we're better the better our opponents are .

Neither should be anywhere near for me - play them at Sheffield

Both should be in next week, why wouldn't you bring them in ? Good sensible rotation and good quality guys who are fresh to come in ? Yes Batley are on a sticky trot , but if we had 2 points come Wednesday night that would be unbelievably good . We'd settle for one point from those two games every day of the week - get us to 30 .

As out of the two Batley and Sheffield it's Batley who I expect us to be aiming to get something out of .. Why change a winning team - plenty of players to come back in who deserve their place before those two individuals - why rotate - week to week ? They have just had a week off.

If he's back in the fold and doing as required Thacks has to play at Batley surely ? And Carter to ... Robinson and Forber to make way and that is a stronger 17 in my opinion . And that's without possible DR . That's a squad that can do something there ?

I always say loyalty should be rewarded - if you remain loyal you run a smooth ship - I think one or twos loyalties have swayed somewhat in recent weeks thus rewarding them with a trip to Sheffield. Briscoe could be ready for Fev ? Shackley back in versus Batley - room for Dan Rooney on the bench ? Other than that you can't drop any of the starting 13 bar maybe cotter from 13 .

Anyone know how the shirt auction went after todays game?

It went great think they raised just over 2000 in the auction with Callum's going at 320 and the highest with Rooney and cotters both going at 200

Obvious praise to the team and coaching staff for the result against Swinton yesterday, but also special praise to the ground-staff for producing such a great pitch for the match. Impact sports are especially reliant on their work during periods of extreme weather, and their efforts for yesterday's game must have made it much safer for both teams.

A good solid performance, it would have been 60 if it wasn't for the persistant offsides and slowing down at the play the ball. The ref was very leniant in both areas but had the cheek to penalize us when we done it.
I though Shacks was unlucky to miss out yesterday, he played well against Dewsbury, Luptom MOM for me he was superb.
