lf sheffield can play their fixtures on a friday evening is it a possibility than town can look into this for next season? I say this because of the poor attendences on a Sunday afternoon in summer. The Reds tried this many years ago in their league days with some success. If the logistics is ok with the players, is it not worth a go to try and play some games on Friday or Sunday night to try and increase attendances?

I've said before I'd look at some Friday night games in among some Sunday ones . And some under floodlights would be good , they have a great feel about them . Worth trying things .

People have to travel to other grounds from a fair way on Friday night . It's the diehards who come here anyway and they'll come , and in reality so few come with many teams you can't base your plans round them . It's about getting more locals and those from around the county . Golf and cricket today , ideal one to shift , what's to lose ?

An average crowd of approx. 650 for this season isn't too bad.

Would attendances improve anyway with Friday night fixtures? Traditionally it's a night round town on the beer, and SL matches live on TV.

Personally, I think crowds would not get any better, so leave the games on Sundays.

Maybe they should try it for two or three games , get the floodlights adding to the atmosphere , see the crowds and compare them .. Just to see ? An experimentation

Barrow played a few friday night games a couple of seasons ago before switching to sat night, both fri and sat were well attended and a great atmosphere..
