Just watching the cricket highlights on 5 and the Aussie middle order batsman Khawaja was going for a quick single and charged into the back of Swann at full chat with the arm/shoulder. That would be out of order on a rugby field let alone a cricket match!

Of course they are, well let's not say losing, let's say being abused and they don't like it. Swann could have been injured by that but it didn't matter as Root came on and got rid of a couple including Khawaja. Root and Swann are making the ball turn yards and it should be all over today.

I don't know the actual score I should say as I wait to see it on highlights.

What a very poor Aussie team playing against a very good England team.........men versus boys.

What a great year for British sport generally. Bradley Wiggins...Chris Frome...British Lions...Andy Murray....Team GB olympic games ( Did the Aussies turn up? ).

What a great season so far for Lancashire Cricket, undefeated in the league programme thus far.

What a wonderful end to the year if our England Rugby League team could lift the World Cup.........................who knows??

You can add Justin Rose to that list - first US open winner for 40 years.

Lets go easy on the aussies - they did win the State of origin again last week!   And they still lead the worl in  . . . australian football!

Australia won 4 out of the 5 world cups in the festaval of world cups,so don't write them off just yet.

Success does not consists in never making blunders, but in never making the same one the second time.
