Quick turn around for the lads on Thursday, can't see us winning this one,but will be happy with a b-point .Think it will be Haven 30-Rams 18.

GM commented on the difficulties associated with this game. He reckons that some players will be forced to take two days off work in order to play in Cumbria on a Thursday night, which can't do too much for morale.

I reckon we would have done very well if we could get a BP out of this as 'Haven are in a run of decent form and strong at their own ground. i can't imagine there will be many Rams fans there cheering them on either.

Would think the bus would head back thirty minutes after final hooter,so you will be looking at around two in the morning to get back to Dewsbury.

That sounds like one very slow bus!!! Match finishes at approx 9.05pm bus leaves at 9.35pm for a maximum 3 hour trip, probably nearer 2.5 hours trip, so you should be in Dewsbury by mid-night.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

You might be right, just a educated guess, given people might be late getting back on the bus, they might stop half way though for a break on the journey back.

What are you on about, Mr Cup? According to my Sky planner the match coverage starts at 7.30 on Premier Sports with the usual 7.15 freebies introduction?

Think it is disgraceful. Premier Sports changed the fixture for them to televise and now decide to delay. Very unfair on both teams and supporters. Players on both sides will have had to take time off work as will back room staff and supporters and they then delay it. ###### way to treat everyone.
