Bigger picture - this worries me - Leeds Rhinos hooker Paul McShane has been dual registered with

Hunslet Hawks with immediate effect & playing Sunday

Wonder who Swinton will suddenly have in their side when we go there...

Both Leeds and Warrington will be desperate to ensure that neither Hunslet nor Swinton respectively are relegated. If that happens, there'll be nowhere to send their players that's at a high enough standard to make it worthwhile. As a previous poster has mentioned, expect a good few 'ringers' to be in their sides over the next few weeks.

I don't think Leeds and wire will be too bothered if I'm honest as the under 23s are coming back next season so I doubt either club will have any players to send out to hunslet or swinton.

Yes, was already wondering this Col as that game could sort out the bottom three places ie up or down. Glad Lee Briers seems to be a first choice at the mo as he has already had a run out with Swinton, but sure one or two other potential match winners will be brought in. As you implied on the other thread this match has already turned against the Knights re fans availability.

Wonder if Richard Horne and Daniel Holdsworth fancy topping up their fitness levels? ;)

Would be nice Pete - suppose we want Warrington to win their semi on Sunday then hopefully

they won't want to risk their lads getting injured before Wembley.

Just cannot understand why the RFL have not intervened to stop some clubs taking the p*ss out of

the dual-reg system - after all, they are quite happy to change the rules half way through a season

when it comes to relegation/promotion issues etc...

If the grapevine is to be believed PMc is a one match apperance ! You should visit the Hawks forum if you're bored - it's a rivetting read !!
Great stuff from the RFL and Prem Sports. Play the Haven v Rams game on a Thursday evening to televise it, but then delay the coverage so it's not live cos of some Irish footy game !! Surprised they didnt ask for the kickoff to be switched to 10.00pm !! Bet Dewsbury are well chuffed...

Might only be 1 game Andy, but a very vital game

See it says about giving him game time - he's played 20 times this season & they are always

moaning about SL players been tired.......smell a rat in all this.......

Brilliant effort today, BP well earned although maybe 3pts was deserved, some strange results again today making the next few weeks very interesting indeed, just hope we have the strength in depth for the fight to the end cos I think we'll need it.

Excellent effort today and somewhat unlucky in the outcome.

Sam Scott's break almost got Nat Browne in for a winner.

TC was the victim of a one up, one down decision with what would have been an equalising penalty.

Elvis had a much better game and went back to taking the line on, Ben Jonno's try was worth the trip alone and Jack Lee was back at his best and probably just nicked MOM.

Good effort up front, particularly Jack Aldous and Stenno.

Mr Stokes policing of the ten metres didnt exist, the Fax fans chuntering a bucketful but they did manage to come up with the worst offside, which was barely three metres !!

Rake of forward passes from the home side, almost all pinged by the officials. Luke Ambler and the back three probably Fax's best on the day. Thacks and Tiger Handforth were pretty out of sorts.

Didn't make it over to Fax today so made do with Ackos dulcet tones, you could hear clearly Andy that the home fans wished to strangle Mr Stokes for most of the match, in fact it sounded a bit like sitting amidst some of our fans at times.

Anyway, congratulations to the Knights players for putting in a massive effort and coming away with what was for me an unexpected bonus point. Lets hope now that our Jekyll and Hyde players have regained their confidence and kick on from here.
