This weekend New York Brass Band are part of the pre match entertainment on the pitch before the 2 CC semi finals. We've already done some stuff at York City Knights and England v Exiles but we are super excited about this as we have watched, played and coached the game.

Agreed.

Apart from the chicken balti pies, the band were the highlight of the match for me.

I was sat in the same row as some of the band members during the game and I am now embarrassed that I did not congratulate them. However, I did not want to embarrass them by inflicting them with a grown man crying

Thoroughly enjoyable - made a nice change from the dross we normally get served up with on these occasions!

Everybody in our party thought you were excellent.

Thought these guys were excellent & deserve to be given another go.  Did chuckle at the way they were announced though - "Please welcome North Yorkshire's only traditional New Orleans Jazz band".  Can't imagine there's that much competition - a bit like being billed as the second-best yodeller in Runcorn!

It's an easy kick for the lad but, as we say in Rugby League, there's no easy kicks.

Thought they were fantastic at the match and the best pre match entertainment ive seen/heard.

Good move with the first tune to set wire fans singing (monaghan song).
