Posted a while back asking about tingley and morley with view to buying a house. Well, after weeks of house hunting the missus has it down to a choice of two. One in Mirfield one in Cleckheaton. Both equal on schools etc so boils down to the areas. Know very little about either so please can I have your opinions or experience of either/both.

Thanks

Both are very adjacent to the M62 - Cleckheaton is handier for Leeds bound traffic.  Mirfield is close to some moorland countryside. There's a good home-made ice cream shop at Whitley.  Mirfield has a very good chippy too

Thanks. More after the character of the place, done all my research into schools, transport links etc. Both seemed ok, but having not been there on a Friday night etc.
