Hunt for the Ultimate Rugby League Championships Fans – Are you the King of the Fans?

Championship and Championship 1 sponsor Kingstone Press Cider is on the hunt for the ultimate Rugby League Championships fans.

As part of the sponsors ‘Championing the Championships’ campaign in conjunction with Love Rugby League, fans are being given the chance to either nominate themselves or a friend and explain why they deserve to be King of the Fans in up to 150 words.

The search has begun on the Kingstone Press Facebook page, which will result in one fan being crowned from each club.  The 23 super fans will be placed in the Wall of Fame on Facebook and win a crate of cider and a family ticket to Championships Finals day.

At the end of the season one of the 23 finalists will be crowned the overall King of the Fans, winning VIP treatment at the Championships Finals day, a money can’t buy prize and a year’s supply of cider.

Alongside this, Championships teams are being profiled on a weekly basis as they share their news and thoughts on the current season and sport as well as taking a step back in their ‘Blast from the Past’ feature, discussing an iconic moment in their clubs history. Fans are encouraged to do the same.

Gordon Johncox, Kingstone Press Cider Managing Director, said: “We’re really enjoying our first season as Championship and Championship 1 sponsors. We’ve fully immersed ourselves in the game and have been really impressed with the dedication from the clubs, players and the fans. This is our chance to celebrate every aspect of the Championships and importantly reward those loyal fans who come out week after week to support their clubs.”

Fans can get involved with the campaign online through www.LoveRugbyLeague.com or the Kingstone Press Facebook page and Twitter.

The competition is open to over 18’s only and closes on Sunday 15 September 2013 at midnight.

Yeah, good one, Rombo. See your period of losing the childishness didn't last long.

Oh Eddie, feel free to gloat (understandably too) about our current malaise, but do it on our forum fella. Don't denigrate a positive Rams thread with stuff about Batley.

And that's from a Batley fan.

Narr there’s loads of other fans far more deserving and longer standing than I. I would rather see it go to somebody who as a family to make good use of the ticket package.
