Oracle, I think the shirt in question is just a mock up to give you an idea on what the names might look like.

Oracle...... read the very last line of Petes initial post mate. Clearly states its only a mock up and not what the shirt is going to look like !

It's only an example. It's not the new kit for next year.

No one has seen the new designs yet . The pic on the front of the form was just an example.

The "18th man" isn't about what the shirt looks like, its about forming lasting bonds between club, fan and player.

Its about everybody being able to put a bit in to help the club and getting something out of it themselves.

Its about encouraging junior raiders to be proud to wear the Barrow shirt.

Its about creating a lasting memory in club form for those no longer with us.

Its about so many more things to so many different fans, but what its not about, is what the shirt looks like!!!

But for the record, and has been said on every piece of literature written about the "18th man" the shirt shown is just a mock up and not what the actually 2014 shirt will look like. The shirt shown is just to give an visual example of what sort of thing people can expect. Some people found it hard to envisage what they were signing up for.

I hope the design for next years shirt is already being thought of and not being left until the last possible minute like this years. A decent design will ensure more sales as well as the 18th man aspect.

A lot of people  express a preference regarding the design of the shirt, the club is working closely with the new suppliers O,neills and hopefully between us we can come up with designs that will appeal to the majority of the supporters(we will never please everybody). What is important at the moment is that we get as many people as possible signed up to the 18th man scheme before the deadline. This is a fantastic opportunity for all those fans that would like to be a part of the new design and at the same time help the club as we continue to move forward.

Our Rivals at the wendyball put three options for the shirt design up on thier site and asked the fans which they prefered. Could we not do something similar
