This will probably be one of the hardest games to predict after a strange week with no confirmation who will be in charge of the team selection until Thursday nights fans forum. Workington are playing really well and will be full of confidence.

Workington 16-32 Featherstone

First try -  Barlow

M.O.M. - Sharp

Attendance - 777

Are We Human, Or Are We Rovers. Our time For Winning Is Here And Now, So Be Loud N Proud, Lets Hear You Singing, Are We Human, Or Are Rovers. They Play With Style And Virtue, Put Their Bodys On The Line, Always Battling For The Victory, They Always Did The Best They Could, Sing Out For Fev Rovers, Blue N White Is All We Know. Stand Up Proud. Swell Your Heart. You Gotta Let Them Know, Are We Human, No We Are Rovers

It's even tougher for us seeing we've come off Batley away then Sheffield away on Wednesday !! I'd be more confident of success off a less brutal build up , but we are strong at home and providing we don't have to many battered bodies and absentees we should be very competitive . This is without doubt the standout home game of the season for us , you are the name and yardstick in this division bar none . This is what we fought to get here for !! Huge blow that Stack is ruled out for a while with knee damage .

Even though are consistency wavers against the "so called" lower teams you still think of us in high esteem ; Thanks for the nice sentiments DavidM; Apart from Sunday good luck with the rest of the campaign;

Will be a very hard game, would take a bonus point now if I could, go for fev 25-16 town! ... although if we do the basics right and have certain players back, town 26-20 fev! Bonus either way

Got a feeling we will compete with fev until 50 or 60 minutes, then the difficult last week will catch up. Be happy with a bp, expect to lose by about 30 unfortunately. have a good journey up to gods country.

This is what happened in the haven away game, the only difference is you have had 3 games in a week and haven just fell apart in all honesty in the last quarter

Expect/hope for a similar scoreline to show we are back

As Chairman LMAO so fondly says, "Go and tell that to someone who is remotely interested".

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
