Last weekend's R20  gave us some excellent footy to watch with athletic tries, end to end moves and some close calls.

PSportsRound212013_zpsaec0e0c6.jpg

This weekend we have another full round to view in the UK starting on Friday with Penrith aiming to knock high flying Roosters out of their stride to move into a better position for a top eight finish.

Broncos will want to prove they have turned the corner after their win away at Cowboys last week. they are playing away again this time against Knights who are again at home and will want to win this time for their fans.

The three Saturday contests feature a lot of form teams. Warriors are much improved though they will face tough opposition from Sharks who are currently three places above them in the ladder. Still with the form the NZ team are in they will be expecting a win!

Manly are playing some great footy too and Eels will be up against it. If Parra do pull this one off it will be the shock of the round.

North Queensland are another team who will pull all the stops out so as not to lose two on the trot at home. They'll need everything to go right against ladder leader Souths who appear to be walking it this season.

Sunday sees raiders fancying their chances against a Storm team that continues to stumble along, a bit reminiscent of this time last season.

Tigers haven't won since R16. They travel up to Gold Coast. This won't be a walkover for Titans though - they haven't been doing that well themselves and Tigers have played  good footy in the last couple of games  despite being on the wrong side of the result.

The last game televised in the UK is Dragons taking on a powerful Canterbury team who show no mercy if they come up against a misfiring team. Dragons have been playing better in the last fortnight but will be up against it here. With their home fans behind them and their pride at stake who knows though?

Not long to go now before the Panther v Roosters game kicks off.

I've predicted there'll be a lot of tries scored in this one!

If Roosters win this one it will be six wins in a row. Should Souths slip up then it's Roosters who have a better points difference than the Rabbitohs who have their game on Saturday. Still maybe Panthers will spoil their party in Penrith. They did struggle against Sharks last week though.

SBW is out of this game through suspension.

Were Panthers to score first this could be a close call.

What a great performance by Storm BR. Sorry if you missed it. :(

An opposition team was eventually going to have to come up against a Storm determined to put their house in order after a stumbling few weeks.

Raiders were the unlucky team on their own pitch where they'd been unbeaten before today this season.

Mahe Fonua was in eye-catching form. Billy got his reward for a tireless effort. Then it looked like everyone else was queuing up to get their name on the Storm half of the score sheet.

It seems Maurice Blair's injury isn't as bad as first feared when he was carried off with a neck injury.

I watched the scrappy Titans v Tigers game first as it was on when I switched the TV on this morning. The commentators sadly gave the Raiders Storm score out - so I knew the result before I got was able to view it!

So not a predictable score this  - your reverse psychology certainly paid off BR - on the day that the Storm re-connected.

It was not quite but almost - The Perfect Storm

PS they gave m.o.m. to Cooper Cronk, but it could have been given to a few others. I'd have given it to Fonua for his sparkling performance.

The Panthers v Broncos game was one of those breathtaking games where you really felt for the players in their exhaustion.

So how about NRL calling games where the scores are even at 80 minutes a draw?

Neither Knights nor Broncos deserved to lose that one. The draw was a good result in the end.

Well done Cowboys who have really put the cat amongst the pigeons now with Rabbitohs not only being put to the sword but John Sutton with a bad ankle strain is injured as they go into next weekend's game against the resurgent Storm.

So it is Roosters who are now top of the ladder with their better points difference than Souths.
