Best wishes to you and your family Darren and I'm sure knowing the fighter you are you will beat this latest challenge.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Shocked to read of Darren Holt's present battle with Cancer, if there is one thing that will definitely help him to overcome this unwelcome setback, it is his constant positive mental attitude, an approach that was prevalent throughout his playing career and so evident lately in his coaching role. No one is better equipped to beat the disease. Best wishes Darren.
