Well looks like he will have to be in then doesn't it but with all our backs fit he wouldn't get in

With everyone fit I would like to see briscoe at FB miller and carter on the wings, what a backline that would be but then again depends on if we could get the ball out quick enough for them to cause damage

I would like to see carter given a go at centre a few people might disagree bit I think he would be a huge threat

I agree with you scott, carter could play in the centres has well has connor could play fullback, miller could also play in the centres.Connor played fullback for north bears and also another club in aussie before he came over here, carter could play at 6 but I think better in the 1 or 3 position, olsrum could play also at 3 or 4 and if pushed could also play at 6 or 7,plenty of permetations for the coaches to look at if they took the time to look for for them. :help:

Expected after two very hard games in bad conditions against Batley and Sheffield players carrying knocks players missing. Not taking anything away from featherstone who are probably the best team in the league

They were running on empty today, nothing left in the tank.

So pleased Calderwood played today. Now where's the plasters for my bleeding eyes?

Drive , quick play , drive , quick play , drive , 70 yards later kick from a bloke in a dinner suit we got nowhere near all day and try ... Then when you're rowing back in a hurry quick shift and try ( usually via the same bloke in the dinner suit ) . Not flash but brutal and mightily effective in the execution . That was the last game we needed today after our exertions so its hard to criticise bruised bodies , but boy they did a job on us and no mistake .

The lads were out on their feet and with five players missing too it was always going to be along afternoon for us. It would been a struggle playing 3 bottom 5 teams in 8 days let alone top 5 teams

Thinking about it , if it all possible we have to make Briscoe our number one transfer target . A fullback you have 100 percent confidence in as a foundation is priceless . We have good players there , but any weakness is mercilessly exploited by oppositions at the level and errors with the ball cost dearly . I'm beginning to agree that the likes of Miller and Carter are more use in the centres using their attacking skills without the downside of being exposed at the back .

Ok - I feared this scoreline today - but really in the forwards no player has been rotated bar injury - why didn't we swap the bench props with the starting props from Wednesday ? Changed the 2nd row man with Morris ? Cotter to 13 allowing Rooney to spell a back row player ? Where the hell are the rest of the duel reg ?

With carter - olstrom - stack - mossop - briscoe - missing and calderwood playing I don't think that's a bad effort after 3 games - you have to wonder what's actually going on in his league tho with some of these scorelines.

End of the day it's the first major blowout score this year - unfortunately it's at home - think its been a week to forget since Wednesday for town - lessons are to be learned for next season.
