eh?

He's a batley fan. I'm tipping you guys went on their forum to wind them up when you beat them? Anyway back on topic are we the best team you've seen at derwent park this season? (Just trying to see if we've got any team/s to worry about come the play offs).

Thanks for your honesty David. We've been through the mill this season with 3 coaches in 11 weeks but hopefully we can get on with the job in hand now and do the double. Good luck for the rest of the season but doubt you need it as you will stay up and make the 8 I reckon.

I'm usually one to try and find excuses but the fev halfback partnership was outstanding today and the team played off them, they played lovely rugby and the kicking game for some of the try's was lovely!! I do hope fev go on and win this League!!
As for the batley toffee person erm we have 3 points we collected from your ground last week are you trying to forget that!! Up the town good luck fev and great too see your support "where supposed to be at home"

at the start of the season we all knew fev were the team to beat. up here weve competed with everyone, beat leigh, ran batley close and should have beaten sheffield, but even without the hard week and missing players i think most would predict a 40 point defeat.lets be honest you should be a super league side, and hopefully you get that chance after next season.

I've mulled over that Swinton game all week to .... How ??????

Fev have lost to York Donny and Swinton We take nothing away from these three teams who were better on the day and each deserved their victories; It happens in sport if you get too complacent; Workington travelled to Sheffield in mid week and there is no doubt in my mind you would have put up a better defence had you not; Fev were wounded soldiers after last week and a bit of that conspired against you; Good luck for the top eight;

With the next four games being more on our level we have a good chance of making the top 8 , which would be very good in year one .

After years of super - duper consistency I agree they deserve a shot at the big time . The squad is there ... The bench was frightening !

I hope we make the 8 David but with Doncaster hitting top form and Dewsbury back in winning form it is going to be difficult. Today's thumping made our points difference column worse than Haven, Donny and Dewsbury and we have the worst points for in the league, including the bottom two teams!!!

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

That last point tells a tale indeed . But those teams have tough games ahead so if we can get back on the horse it's still up for grabs . We need Briscoe back and we need Olstrum back , and we need a Craven or Callum back at 7 . Preferably Craven if available , Callum's had a hell of a season and not surprisingly the young star is starting to look a bit frayed . Maybe use him to spell Matty and try and get that specialist 7 in .

Donny have to play dewsbury and next week their both away to top 5 teams so haven and town will be ok for the top 8 i reckon

And about 10 years ... The Leigh game said quality and solidity , and we played confidently off that . You know what you're getting .

A tough ask but if won the next four, or even 3 wins and a bonus point sixth place could well be ours.

Two wins and a couple of bonus points would look good enough for top 8.

Main thing this season was survival, and barring a disaster and freak results that is more or less assured

even with five games to go.
