I thought Danny Jones was mom....tackled everything that moved.

Great result and shows what a bit of self belief can produce.....must say our fans must have helped spur the guys on as well.

Credit to Karl Harrison for not blaming the 3 games in a week for Fax and admitting the best team won on the day

Now to push on and not let this game be a one off win against a top 5 side !!

I agree Mash Campbell was outstanding today, but to be fair the whole team played well in what was easily our best 80  mins of the season.

Danny Jones was MOM for me today, though the full team deserve it if im honest, what a performance especially after last week, now lets fill a couple of buses next week and get behind the lads at Batley!

Danny Jones was my man of the match. Defencively he's the best player we have by some distance, when he's on the pitch we tend to dominate the collision a lot more as he goes down hard at the players legs pretty much halting their movement. Special mentions to Helliwell and Capmbell they were both outstanding. Think we should put a bid in for the former he is quality.

I think Mossop is getting near to SL standard now. His running from dummy half rips nearly every team he plays to shreds. Shame he's off to Haven next season though according to a reliable Haven source ;)

Harrison and Haggerty class as ever and the forwards were brilliant. Wiper and Lowe have improved massively also. McGilvary is brilliant in defence and Clay was as solid as ever.

People overreacted to the loss last week far to much. People were saying that was the final straw how could we get beat by Doncaster so easily. They hammered Haven today, it shows what great form they're on and last week's result wasn't as bad as people make out.

If we get 7 more points I think we will be safe IMO. There isn't a chance of Keighly getting 7 points from their remaining games and Hunslet will have to win all their games to finish ahead of us.

A bonus point against Batley would be huge although they appear to have hit form again.

I'm more than confident we are going to stay up though as long as we stay injury free.

It's been a good day results for Barrow. The League table is now:-

Fev           55 points

Sheffield   55

Fax           50

Leigh        49

Batley       47

Haven      36

Dewsbury 35

Donny      33

Town        32

Keighley    27

RAIDERS  27

York          24

Swinton     24

Hunslet     23

Still n outside chance of top 8 but very unlikely.

Is it worth mentioning that yesterday was the first time finch and campbell have played together in the halves yesterday? Hopefully if everyones fit we will have the same 17 for batley!
