The Bulldogs have announced the signing of prop-forward Alex Rowe for the 2014 season.

Formerly with the Castleford Tigers and Doncaster, powerful prop Rowe has been a major component of the Bulldogs season and has impressed since his arrival from the Don Valley Stadium. His capture for next year is another major recruitment coup for the club, and his impressive performance at Keighley on Sunday showed his contribution to the cause.

Excellent keep it up guys

Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are good is like

expecting the bull not to charge because you are a vegetarian.

To quote The Beatles 'It's getting better all the time', he could well have been on the radar elsewhere. So that's 5 + Leek + Nicholson if the rumour proves correct, more than we had at this time last year. keep 'em rolling in, and with a couple more new names we could kick on.

Never enjoyed our lads going up against him whilst he was an undisciplined rover or eagle but whilst in a dogs shirt he's been nothing short of excellent.
Takes some hammer , gives some big hits out and alex seems more than willing to stick up for his pals when the handbags come out!

The most unfashionable yet over achieving mutts around
