My swimming teacher back at school flew Sunderland flying boats during the war.   We thought that was very cool.

Doesn't explain why we had to swim in the nud.   :O

Proper 'old school' is Sturmey-Archer 3-speed! :P

Now we're talking.

As featured on the aforementioned Raleigh Superbe ;)

Well made is all very good but I'm not sure campy are cool. A bit too flowery and flashy. Sram on the other hand is pure simplistic brilliance. Just 6 moving parts in their double tap shifters and the same tech throughout the range, just different materials.

Sram and Shimano are efficient and well made.

Campagnolo are cool to the tips of their toes.

Indeed; in some of the trendier parts of London, you can't move for toppling metrosexual hipsters...

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
