In todays League Express, JK says he is close to completing his squad for next season and announcements re those current players re-signing will be announced in the coming weeks, followed by those who we have signed from other clubs. He also says he believes we will be top 4 contenders again next season.

We really need to be aiming as high as possible next season given the mooted massive financial rewards that will be on offer. Having said that, every other club will have similar aspirations so it should be a very interesting year for the Championship.

Not being in the know I have no idea who else might be re-signing, so at the risk of looking stupid and accepting that there may be knowledge out there that I do not have, I would be delighted if Davies, Bretherton, Applegarth and Potts signed on again. I also know that Maun has said he is retiring but we do seem more solid when he plays so an attempt to change his mind might be made.

On yesterdays performance, and those earlier in the season, then getting Davies signature is a must IMO.
