We need the mentality of three cup finals for our last games otherwise we might as well forget it. We need both Goulding and O'brien for the last 3 games and Brown back at halfback.

With York and Hunslet having to play each other on Sunday, they will take points of each other.Really can't see them both getting enough points to overtake us,even if we don't pick up any more points in our last three games.

Forget the playoffs - we've not looked anywhere near beating a top five side this season, and barring us grabbing some top quality DR's, I can't see that changing. The big issue for me is relegation. Now it's no secret that not only am I a glass half empty sort of bloke, but even with a full glass, I can't help but feel the landlord has given me short measure, so it is with some amazement that I look at the above table and feel confident we will stay up - there, I've said it, I'm optimistic. The combination of results that could see us drop into the bottom two is so convoluted as to be nigh on impossible IMO - and avoiding the drop is all that matters to me this season.

Relax GOR there is more chance of my granny signing for Fev that the Rams being overhauled by York or Hunslet so Dewsbury are relegated.

According to Wilsden Ram on another thread Goulding's loan period with us was automatically terminated when he played for Wakefield last week.

It seems that O'brien will be playing for the Bulls for the remainder of this seson as
L'estrange has an injury which will keep him sidelined for 3 months.

However, in an interview in last night's Telegraph and Argus, he indicated that as Disken
and L'estrange are both contracted for next Season, he would be happy at 20 yrs old to wait
for his chance and play for us again. This is, of course, provided that the DR or Loan System
allows this to happen.

On the Goulding situation, Richard Agar did state on Radio Leeds that he intended to give him and
Liam Kay some game time in Super League with a view to next season as it looks almost certain that
the Wildcats will not reach the play-offs this year.
