Hock and Clarke not in the Widnes team tonight. Thus, Pickersgill, Hulme, Flynn and Clarke (Loose Forward/Hooker) may be available for Sunday if we are struggling to raise a fit team. Just a thought if we want to protect some of our players for the York game.

Don't worry mate, the more DR players we play, the worse we play! No disrespect to the Widnes players intended, it's hard to gel a team unit at the last moment with at best only one training session. It would be great if we could manage to raise a team for the game with only Hulme and Flynn ( now becoming very much part of the Town squad for this season) as the only DR members.

There goes the possibility of Clarke, both he and Hock are injured.

Two main things for this game is our injury situation and which raiders side turn up either the one that played fev at home or the one that played fax at home. Hoping for the town win but also want raiders to stay up so I wish them all the best after sunday.

Although not in the original 19 man squad for Widnes, it appears that Paddy Flynn was eighteenth man on the night. The Widnes Forum think that he is close to a Widnes return, hope we can still have him for Sunday.

Flynn was 18th man because Hock and Clarke where injured in original 19.I think Declan Hulme and Pickgersgill could be a possibility for Town. Flynn may also play if required as our next game 1st September

Thanks for the information widnes rlfc, it would be a pity if we didn't take up the option of Pickersgill (if offered), our forwards to a man have been heroes this season and deserve some respite, especially now.

Hope they do well on Sunday and looks like Pickgersgill out of favour still at Widnes.Think your team have enough decent frontrowers with big Cumbrian lads.
