Green has gone back to Hull KR playing at Leeds tonight. Shame for us really as I would of liked to of seen him stop at Fev. Looks like Lamont will get back in the team Sunday hope he continues where he left off as he was getting better week on week at prop when he came on with Bostock

because it's what sl teams do use championship clubs to get players match fit a bit of confidance back and call um back same happened with mariano

Sometimes it's going to work out, sometimes it's not. Think of Andy Ellis last season - we were all disappointed when he got recalled to Wakefield but if he hadn't had that chance to see if he liked the set-up at our place we would possibly have never lured him here at the end of the season. Could be a similar scenario with Mellars and/or Barlow at the end of this season. The body language from the on-loan players, from what we can tell on the field, seems to have been very positive and to me the loan system is a kind of try-before-you-buy for both the players and the club.

Also deprives an established team member of a place. Let the SL clubs provide their own "comeback" regimes. SL clubs are not as elitist as many people think.

Finn, Barlow, Green, Mellors. All this talk of players movements can't be good for team spirit.

,,,it's the way of the world. We 'ave been linked to about 10 dozen players in recent times. I'm sure the supporters of those clubs are asking for statements etc from their respective clubs.

We like to hear of quality players being linked with Fev, we don't like our quality players being linked with other clubs. Suggest folk take comments with large pinch of salt. On Barlow, the man himself said he would like to be at Fev next year (Radio Leeds after Swinton game)

Reminded of me fathers favourite saying when hearing such speculation 'It sells papers but changes nowt''
