Tight game tonight york leading 17-16 with clock ticking down they twice refused the opportunity to take the two points on offer from straight infront and guess what? Oldham go downfield get a pen slot it over and win 18-17 york playoffs dream died but what dissapointed me most was as Nield lined up pen to win it at the end, the whistling jeering and banging of the york bench to put him off but to no avail well done roughyeds

It was certainly a very tight and competitive contest last night, very entertaining indeed. After a very disjointed season, it was an excellent and rewarding way for Phil, Mark and the lads to end their short season. Well done to all.

I agree 'Out of Town', that was a very immature and unprofessional way for the York bench to act when Steve Nield was taking that last minute penalty, so definitely some justice there when it went over!

It was a good game and well done to the lads they again gave everything, that at the end from the York dugout was nothing but disgraceful its to be expected from the Specky's but not from the dugout very unsporting. They got what they deserved but nothing was going to put Nield off.

Shame it was the last game
