With today's performance and other teams results it seems the promised land of Championship One awaits. Anyone got any thoughts on the way forward? Do we try to go with a more locally based team as there will be no promotion next season? Will this no promotion effect crowds whether we're wining or not?

Start from square one with leftovers of what we have now. We will most likely have a real chance of being near the top of the table so hopefully that will be enough to convince people to come.

I actually fear for our very existence in Champ 1.

None of the better players from the current squad will be wearing a Knights shirt next season. Nicholson and Scott will be on their merry way

I would say stop signing the ###### from this season and begin again.

Scott has signed but wouldn't be surprise of a get out clause.

He has but don't you believe he will have a opt out clause should the Knights be relegated?

We won't go bust. Don't worry about that.

Which indeed is very good news. The club will have two plans, one for staying in the Championship and one for going down into Championship One. What the worry is what condition the club will be in if and when they are in Championship One. They will be greater reduced monies through lower gate income (due to lack of travelling support) the outstanding legal bill from the Woods case and hopefully paying out more winning pay to the players. All this will reduce the playing budget, so what quality of side will be wearing the Knights shirt next season?

I think we will struggle with crowds next season, I mean how many people will say they can't do something with the family because we're playing Hemel Stags that afternoon. No disrespect to Hemel.

Crusaders can do it, so we can do it.

The side will be the best it can possibly be, no matter what division we are in!

There are no travel costs in Champ 1 so there's some money saved for winning pay. Silver linings and all that...
